Principal Management Consultant – Investment Solutions

About the role

The Principal Management Consultant – Investment Solutions will act as a trusted advisor to SimCorp’s financial‑services clients, helping them translate business objectives into effective use of SimCorp’s investment‑management platform. With 8‑12 years of experience in value advisory or consulting, you will guide clients through solution selection, implementation and optimisation to deliver measurable business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory engagements with existing clients, defining objectives and aligning SimCorp solutions to create value.
• Develop and present business cases, ROI models and value assessments that illustrate the impact of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, account managers and solution architects to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities while ensuring solutions meet client requirements.
• Provide best‑practice guidance during implementation, conduct workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions, and monitor ongoing client needs for further optimisation.
• Influence product road‑maps by delivering client feedback and mentor junior consultants within the Value Advisory team.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in value advisory, management consulting or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of the investment‑management value chain on the buy‑side.
• Strong understanding of current industry and technology trends.
• Proven ability to engage senior client stakeholders and translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants and working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
