Procurement Specialist – APAC (Singapore)

About the role

ByteDance is seeking a motivated Procurement Specialist based in Singapore to lead the Workplace Services category across the APAC region. As an individual contributor, you will shape regional procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure smooth business operations in a fast‑changing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Workplace Services category, guaranteeing uninterrupted business operations.
• Conduct deep‑dive sourcing analysis and build market intelligence for the APAC region.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to drive RFPs, select qualified suppliers, and resolve purchasing issues.
• Provide end‑to‑end procurement support, covering the full P2P cycle, contract negotiation and execution.
• Develop and maintain a qualified vendor pool, conduct annual performance reviews and rate‑card renegotiations.
• Create contract frameworks, rate cards and catalog management to improve procurement efficiency.
• Establish sustainable partnerships with key business units and understand their specific needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Fast learner with high adaptability to a matrix environment.
• Logical and creative thinking with a passion for challenging the status quo.
• Excellent communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
