Regional Demand Planner

About the role

As a Regional Demand Planner at Decathlon, you will align supply strategy with market demand to ensure optimal product availability across the region. You will use analytical insights to forecast sales, manage inventory, and support business objectives in a fast‑moving sporting goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate the zone’s supply strategy into demand planning for your product category.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to incorporate market insights, promotions, and business goals into forecasts.
• Estimate and adapt sales quantities throughout the season using historical data and market trends.
• Publish purchase quantities to guide production and procurement planning.
• Conduct weekly reviews of forecast accuracy and adjust parameters to maintain product availability.
• Manage inventory levels within the stock budget, mitigating stock‑outs and excess stock.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in an agile, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
