Road Network Manager – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Road Network Manager to lead the road transport network for a leading third‑party logistics provider in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Transport Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring service excellence, cost efficiency and operational reliability across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement road transport network strategies to improve service levels and optimise costs.
• Manage carrier relationships, contract negotiations and transport vendor performance.
• Analyse network performance data and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Lead transport planning initiatives to maximise fleet utilisation and route efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, warehousing, customer service and commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, performance monitoring and KPI management.
• Support business growth with scalable transport solutions and network expansion projects.
• Lead and develop a team of transport and logistics professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing road transportation networks within a 3PL, logistics, freight forwarding or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning, carrier management, routing optimisation and freight operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving operational and cost efficiencies.

Required skills

• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and logistics technology platforms.
