Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

A multinational logistics and supply chain company with a strong presence across Asia and other global markets is hiring a Sales Executive in Central, Singapore. The role focuses on developing new business in freight forwarding and improving the company's market position for spare parts for vessels and related warehousing services. The position is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and generate sales leads in the freight forwarding and logistics sector
• Prepare and negotiate freight rates, quotations and service proposals for customers
• Coordinate with operations, customer service and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and freight rate fluctuations to identify sales opportunities
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Required profile

• Minimum a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
• At least 10 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics
• Preferably experienced in marine parts and/or related warehouse business (not a must)
• Strong understanding of air, sea and/or land freight products and services
• Self-motivated, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

What we offer

• Salary of SGD 4,000 to 5,000
• Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
