Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join a fast‑growing asset management platform. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own full‑set accounting, month‑end and year‑end closes, and drive finance transformation through AI‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, SFRS or other applicable standards.
• Manage general ledger, month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain accounting records for investment portfolios, funds, SPVs and holding structures, including NAV calculations and fund performance reports.
• Support investment acquisitions, disposals and capital transactions, working with fund administrators, custodians and investment teams.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations and other reporting requirements, including tax filings and GST/VAT submissions.
• Develop management reports, board papers and financial analysis, providing insights on portfolio performance, cash flow and risks.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning initiatives.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enabled finance tools for analysis, forecasting, reconciliations and anomaly detection.
• Contribute to finance process automation projects using AI, workflow platforms and data‑analytics tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 6‑8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in asset management, private equity, real‑estate funds or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
