Senior Accountant (up $6000)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities for assigned entities, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal preparation and reconciliations.
• Prepare accruals, financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure completeness of financial records.
• Conduct financial analysis, explain key variances and support decision‑making.
• Assist with statutory reporting, audits, tax and GST/VAT filings.
• Partner with business units on budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Identify and drive process improvements and finance system enhancements.
• Support cross‑functional projects and business initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Experience with audit processes and exposure to ERP systems is advantageous.
• Independent, analytical mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
