Senior Engineer, Customer Quality

About the role

The Senior Engineer, Customer Quality will manage customer quality performance, ensuring products meet company, customer, and industry requirements. The role involves handling quality issues, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, NPI support, and continuous improvement while collaborating with customers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain customer quality requirements and standards in line with company, customer, and industry specifications.
• Monitor quality performance using KPIs such as customer PPM, defect rates, RMA/complaint trends, and corrective‑action effectiveness, recommending improvements.
• Manage quality issues through containment, root‑cause analysis, 8D/CAPA, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
• Support new product introduction and customer qualification, reviewing specifications, FMEA, control plans, inspection criteria, and reliability results.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Sales, and customers to resolve issues, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related); Master’s preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in customer quality, quality engineering or manufacturing quality, preferably in semiconductor, optoelectronics, RF, high‑speed interconnect or electronics.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or AS9100.
• Experience with failure analysis, FMEA, control plans, corrective actions and problem‑solving methodologies.
