Production Technician – Antioxidant Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Technician will operate the Antioxidant (AO) manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with production, environment, health & safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production units following EHS rules, SOPs, and instructions from the Production Engineer.
• Perform field operator routines such as raw material and catalyst filling, LOTO preparation, 5S rounds, and filter changes.
• Learn and operate Delta V control system under supervision and conduct in‑process sampling and testing.
• Execute simple maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain proper documentation.
• Participate in plant safety activities, emergency shutdowns, and fire‑fighting brigade duties.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical plant (fresh graduates with relevant internships are also considered).
• Basic understanding of chemical processes and ability to work 24/7 shift schedule on Jurong Island.

Required skills

• Experience with Panel Distributed Control System (DCS).
• Knowledge of Delta V control system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SAP PM module (preferred).
