Compliance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Compliance Engineer to ensure our products, components, systems and technical documentation meet regulatory standards, safety requirements and industry guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with third‑party organisations to support product compliance, certification, testing and regulatory submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate engineering designs, processes and products for compliance with local, national and international regulations, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Identify potential compliance risks early in development to prevent legal issues and ensure safe engineering practices.
• Conduct product tests, site inspections and audits, detect non‑compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of compliance checks, audits, certifications and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams, quality assurance, legal and regulatory affairs to integrate compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance to management on compliance issues and help develop procedures to maintain regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in engineering, compliance, quality assurance, testing or certification is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organisational and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, able to work independently and within a team.
• Proactive, responsible, willing to learn and adapt to new requirements.
