Senior Global Supply Planner

About the role

The Senior Global Supply Planner drives long‑range, pre‑season and in‑season supply planning across worldwide markets. You will optimize supply availability, mitigate risks linked to demand shifts, capacity constraints, and material shortages, and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support long‑range planning (LRP) with internal and external stakeholders, creating robust plans aligned with sourcing strategy.
• Validate forecasts, translate them into capacity, allocation, and material requirements, and guide vendor allocation.
• Convert regional distribution centre receipts into purchase order schedules.
• Analyze demand forecasts and market insights to influence seasonal and long‑range planning decisions.
• Maintain the seasonal buy plan, optimize global PO placement, and manage buy windows in coordination with regional planning.
• Identify capacity risks, develop mitigation actions, and collaborate with material planning to balance lead times and liability.
• Govern buy execution, ensure data readiness, and communicate capacity updates to regions.
• Continuously improve planning processes for efficiency and strategic alignment.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable supply decisions.
• Proven experience building relationships with internal product supply, commercial planning teams, and external vendors.
• Solid understanding of supply chain planning, capacity risk assessment, and material procurement.
• Excellent communication skills to present supply signals and drive consensus across global teams.
