Senior Manager - Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager – Operations will lead multiple priorities in a customer‑centered environment. You will oversee a diverse team of Operations Associates, Drivers and Administrative Coordinators while collaborating with Sales and other internal departments to ensure exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of one or more locations, including on‑time order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, working capital, inventory and quality management systems.
• Oversee multiple warehouse management systems and coordinate value‑added services for customers.
• Maintain a safe, secure and inclusive workplace.
• Coach, mentor, hire, train and manage performance of employees.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit standards and ISO 9000.
• Manage expense‑based P&L and drive efficiencies using LEAN methodologies.
• Maintain tour‑ready facility standards and oversee preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Align facility capacity with sales expectations and market strategy.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Participate in developing the annual facility budget.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of operations experience, preferably in distribution‑center environments.
• Proven experience managing teams of individual contributors.
• Strong communication skills in group and individual settings.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency.
• Willingness to travel 0‑25% of the time.
