Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The local Supply Chain Manager is an operational leader responsible for the end‑to‑end supply chain of IMCD Singapore. The role covers demand planning, inventory management, forecasting, logistics coordination and 3PL management while ensuring alignment with global policies, regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the full scope of the local supply chain function.
• Oversee demand planning and inventory management to guarantee stock availability and accuracy.
• Implement and enforce IMCD Global Supply Chain Policy and related procedures.
• Prepare and execute an annual supply chain risk analysis and action plan.
• Maintain adherence to IMCD’s Risk & Control framework across all activities.
• Lead logistics operations including warehousing, road/air/sea transportation and value‑added services.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements for warehousing, transportation, chemical storage and import/export.
• Manage product flows between principals, IMCD, customers and intercompany entities.
• Document, maintain and optimise logistics processes.
• Act as key user for MRP and inventory management systems.
• Coordinate demand forecasting with Business Units, Customer Service and Finance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven logistics or supply chain management experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Deep understanding of Singapore’s logistics, warehousing, transportation, import/export and 3PL market.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management, stock replenishment and working‑capital optimisation (preferred).
• Data‑analytics background with ability to turn data into operational insights (preferred).
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong ownership.
• Familiarity with Singapore chemical‑distribution regulations (WSH, SCDF, NEA, GHS/SDS, customs) is a plus.
