Supply Chain & Planning Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain & Planning Manager will lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function for PPG Aerospace in Singapore, ensuring reliable material flow, production planning and on‑time delivery to OEM and aftermarket customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Planners and Material Executives, set goals, performance metrics and development plans.
• Develop and execute demand, supply and production plans aligned with customer forecasts, long‑term agreements and aftermarket needs.
• Participate in S&OP processes to align sales, operations and manufacturing on volume, capacity and inventory strategies.
• Oversee MRP execution, material traceability, batch/lot control and compliance with aerospace specifications.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, carrier selection, freight cost optimisation and compliance with dangerous‑goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR).
• Collaborate with suppliers, customer service, commercial, quality, EHS and regulatory teams to meet delivery commitments and aerospace standards.
• Define and track KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turns, logistics cost and schedule adherence, driving continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma.
• Promote ERP/MRP and planning system enhancements to improve data accuracy and visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading supply chain, materials management or logistics teams in an aerospace or high‑tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality and regulatory requirements, including dangerous‑goods handling.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
