About the role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a 3PL and industrial distribution facility. The role involves overseeing receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch while driving productivity, service quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing and shipping.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse staff to meet productivity, service and safety targets.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counting and regular reconciliation.
- Implement and continuously improve operational procedures to boost efficiency and service levels.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs, generate management reports and analyse performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, transport providers and suppliers to ensure seamless logistics execution.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 3 years in a people‑management role.
- Experience in a 3PL environment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations and distribution processes.
- Proven ability to drive productivity improvements and operational‑excellence initiatives.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency in ERP platforms and inventory control systems.
- Knowledge of stock control processes, cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
