Account Executive - Enterprise Cloud Data

About the role

Databricks, the Data and AI company, is looking for an Account Executive to join its Enterprise Sales team in Singapore. The role suits someone who knows the SaaS sales process well, can present innovation and change through customer vision expansion, and enjoys explaining the business value of technology to customers and partners while prospecting new opportunities and growing existing ones.

Key responsibilities

• Assess accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage them
• Use a solution approach to create value for customers
• Identify the most valuable use cases in each account to maximise Databricks' impact
• Work with teams to maximise the impact across the ecosystem
• Build value in engagements to promote successful negotiations and close deals
• Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark
• Deliver technical and business results using the Databricks Platform

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions (essential)
• Sales experience within Big Data, Cloud or SaaS
• Experience working with C-Level executives
• Ability to explain complex cloud technologies and big data simply
• Track record of breaking into new accounts and growing existing ones, and of exceeding sales targets
• Previous experience in an early-stage, fast-growing company
