Accountant – APAC Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our regional APAC Finance team. In this position you will ensure reliable financial reporting, smooth closing processes, and strong compliance while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Own general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities such as balance‑sheet reconciliations, payment processing, variance investigation, and preparation of management reports.
• Strengthen compliance by aligning with accounting policies, internal controls, statutory requirements, and tax regulations (including GST and company tax).
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors and provide support for accounts payable and receivable as needed.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, cross‑functional projects, and ad‑hoc assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational, shared‑service or regional finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations and closing processes.
• Analytical, structured and proactive with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
