Accountant – Finance & Accounting Role

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage our accounting processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting for New Hope Community Services Limited in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting functions and ensure timely, accurate monthly and year‑end management reports.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborating with heads of departments to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Analyze financial numbers, highlight discrepancies, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Oversee tax compliance, including GST and corporate tax calculations and related documentation.
• Ensure adherence to group policies and local statutory requirements.
• Provide commentary on operational performance and support internal controls.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to best‑practice implementation.
• Support the finance team, assist with treasury and cash‑flow forecasting, and handle bank‑related matters.

Required profile

• Minimum degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the social service sector.
• Excellent communication, leadership, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
