Finance Systems Project Manager – SAP (APAC)

As a Finance Systems Manager leading our project management team for APAC, you will play a pivotal role in leading regional initiatives, managing requirements, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to achieve smooth finance systems go‑lives.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage complex finance systems projects across the APAC region, ensuring on‑time and within‑scope delivery.
• Manage the requirements intake and prioritisation process for the Finance Systems team in APAC, aligning regional business needs with technology roadmaps.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a small, highly effective team of project managers across APAC to drive project excellence.
• Close the gap between different business units and technology teams to facilitate fast, smooth, and successful finance systems go‑lives.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage dependencies, and support end‑to‑end testing phases to safeguard the integrity of finance system deployments.
• Partner with cross‑functional and global teams to ensure successful localisation and integration of finance systems across APAC countries.
• Identify bottlenecks proactively and drive continuous improvements to project management frameworks and ways of working.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SAP ecosystems and their integration within corporate finance.
• Proven track record of delivering complex systems projects in a regional or multinational environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership experience managing small teams of project managers or analysts.
• Highly proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
