Accountant – Full Set of Accounts (Permanent)

About the role

The company, a provider of landscaping and arboriculture services, is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage its full set of accounts on a permanent basis. You will work on‑site in Bukit Batok, handling day‑to‑day financial operations and supporting the finance team with accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the complete set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate records.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow analyses.
• Submit GST returns and other statutory filings in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor incoming payments, outstanding receivables, supplier payments and company expenses.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and related accounting schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide documentation for annual audits.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling a full set of accounts independently.
• Familiarity with GST submission, financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with auditors and external parties.
