Accounts Executive – Junior Finance Role

About the role

The Accounts Executive will join the finance team of a leading industrial machinery manufacturer in Singapore. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. This junior‑level position offers exposure to a full spectrum of finance functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Payable process and maintain the General Ledger.
• Prepare, post and review journal entries ensuring accurate financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, including financial reporting and fixed‑asset schedules.
• Prepare GST input tax reports and coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.
• Provide basic office administrative support and undertake ad‑hoc tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
