Assistant Tax Manager / Tax Manager

About the role

Bitdeer is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager/Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. The role ensures accurate and timely tax filings, manages audits, and supports strategic tax initiatives for the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review direct and indirect tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT/GST, sales & use tax, withholding tax) for all entities.
• Track filing deadlines, maintain compliance with local and international tax regulations, and mitigate tax risks.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions in line with accounting standards and ensure timely tax payments.
• Lead responses to tax audits, coordinate documentation, and maintain robust internal controls over tax processes.
• Provide tax support for M&A, restructuring, financing, and other strategic initiatives, including due‑diligence and structuring analysis.
• Serve as primary contact for external tax advisors and regulatory bodies, collaborating with finance and legal teams.

Required profile

• Strong technical tax knowledge covering corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes.
• Hands‑on experience navigating multiple regulatory regimes and managing tax audits.
• Ability to translate global tax requirements into clear guidance for business units.
• Experience in international tax compliance and reporting.
