Assistant Vice President / Client Manager - Multinational Hub

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Assistant Vice President / Client Manager to join its Multinational team in Singapore. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week spent in the office. You will work in a dedicated team providing advisory, placement and client servicing to new and existing multinational clients, building strong relationships with a wide range of clients and gaining exposure to international colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt and accurate processing of clients' insurance requests and ensure overall client servicing.
• Work with Marsh's global network of offices.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts ranging from standalone statutory insurances in Singapore to large complex risks.
• Handle account servicing including client calls and meetings, pre-renewal data gathering, renewal discussions and post-renewal activities such as policy documentation and training support.
• Develop and expand your own client portfolio.
• Help clients adopt digital tools and Marsh systems, partnering with internal teams.
• Implement action plans, monitor progress and ensure service meets or exceeds client expectations while protecting the firm from errors and omissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in the general insurance industry.
• Relevant experience in property and casualty insurance preferred.
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent; ANZIIF or ACII is an advantage.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

• Computer literacy: IT packages, MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
