Concierge (Travel Retail)

About the role

The Concierge is the first point of welcome for clients at the CHANEL counter and Beauty Lounge at a travel-retail airport location. The role creates a warm, polished and personalised introduction to CHANEL, recognising each client and connecting them to the most relevant consultation, product discovery or service. It also supports the Lounge's commercial and operational performance by managing client flow, appointments and clienteling.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients personally, with special attention to VIPs, top clients, appointment guests and returners, and guide them to the right Beauty Advisor, Fragrance Specialist or service
• Manage walk-ins, appointments, waiting times and client flow, and coordinate handovers between team members
• Host VIPs and appointments with discreet hospitality and follow-up
• Build client relationships through discovery, storytelling about the House and its products, and basic beauty and fragrance consultations
• Update client information and preferences, and support outreach, appointment and event invitations
• Perform trained complimentary beauty and fragrance services, introduce paid express facials and hand over to the Lounge Specialist
• Support Lounge KPIs such as client recruitment, retention, appointment booking and service conversion, and help fill service slots
• Identify gifting and travel-retail opportunities
• Maintain a tidy welcome area and Lounge, accurate appointment schedules and waiting lists, and keep service materials, testers and POS materials stocked
• Uphold CHANEL standards for grooming, presentation, confidentiality, safety and airport requirements
• Share client feedback with the team and support product launches, events and key client moments

Required profile

• Experience in luxury retail, beauty, hospitality, aviation, hotels or premium client service
• Strong clienteling and interpersonal skills, able to host discerning and international clients
• Confidence in CHANEL storytelling, basic beauty and fragrance consultation and trained service rituals
• Professional fluency in English
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and peak travel periods according to airport trading hours
