Director, Head of Process Engineering – Markets Operations (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head Process Engineering for Markets Operations in Asia, based in Singapore. The Director will set the strategic direction for a regional team, drive transformation initiatives and ensure the delivery of measurable operational efficiencies across Fixed Income, Equities, FX and Commodities businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to a team of ~10 process‑re‑engineering professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture and optimizing location strategy.
• Define and execute a portfolio of high‑impact business enablement and process‑engineering projects aligned with global objectives.
• Architect and drive the target‑state operating model and detailed roadmap for Markets Operations transformation in the Asia region.
• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies, especially GenAI and automation, to create scalable, data‑driven solutions.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance and Operations, ensuring robust controls and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in process engineering and operations transformation within financial markets.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering large‑scale automation projects.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of Markets Operations lifecycle and regulatory controls.
