Executive Director, Acquisition Finance

About the role

The Executive Director, Acquisition Finance will lead the origination, structuring and execution of financing solutions for acquisitions, leveraged buy‑outs and other event‑driven transactions across Asia. Working closely with clients, relationship managers and product partners, you will deliver tailored debt solutions that support ANZ’s corporate and private‑equity customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the origination, structuring and execution of acquisition financing opportunities across Asia, focusing on private‑equity and acquisitive corporate clients.
• Engage with coverage bankers and product partners to identify M&A‑related financing opportunities and develop senior relationships with key market participants.
• Provide strong deal‑team leadership across diverse transaction structures, sectors and geographies, while embedding prudent risk assessment.
• Support the delivery of the Corporate Finance strategy in Singapore and the broader Asia region.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in M&A/event‑driven debt structuring and negotiation, with established networks in APAC leveraged finance markets.
• Strong credit evaluation, underwriting and transaction execution experience across complex corporate finance deals.
• Proven senior deal leadership, stakeholder influencing and external marketing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across cultures, supported by strong planning, numerical and analytical skills.
