Finance Controller – Family Office (Up to 20k)

About the role

The family office seeks a hands‑on, commercially astute Finance Controller to own the full finance, accounting and reporting function. You will act as a trusted partner to the principal and senior management while safeguarding the integrity of financial information across multiple entities, jurisdictions, currencies and asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance, accounting and reporting activities for the family office.
• Ensure compliance with MAS Section 13U economic‑substance requirements and related conditions.
• Oversee multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidations and group reporting.
• Perform investment and portfolio accounting, including reconciliation of custodian and private‑bank statements.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators and audit firms.
• Manage Singapore corporate tax, GST, ACRA and IRAS statutory filings.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with CA (Singapore), CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• 10‑15+ years of progressive finance experience, including Big 4 audit and in‑house finance leadership.
• Strong exposure to direct investment accounting is a plus.
• Deep technical expertise in SFRS/IFRS, group consolidations and complex multi‑entity structures.
• Proven experience in investment and portfolio accounting and custodian reconciliation.
• Solid knowledge of Singapore corporate tax, GST, ACRA and IRAS compliance.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cultures.
