Group Finance Manager / Senior Manager (Singapore)

About the role

Syfe is looking for a hands‑on Group Finance Manager or Senior Manager to own the accounting, reporting and audit lifecycle for its regulated entities across APAC. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with Legal, People, Tax and external auditors to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for all Syfe entities and coordinate consolidated group reporting.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under SFRS(I) / IFRS and manage end‑to‑end external audits.
• Handle intercompany accounting, transfer‑pricing coordination and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
• Support Singapore tax compliance, GST, and MAS regulatory reporting; liaise with tax advisors for Hong Kong, Australia and India.
• Drive regulatory financial reporting, capital adequacy monitoring and compliance coordination.
• Provide technical accounting for new products, share‑based payments, financial instruments and revenue recognition.
• Design internal controls, automate finance processes and mentor a growing team of junior analysts.
• Partner with FP&A on cost‑centre reporting, budget variance analysis and management reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CPA) with 5–8 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in FinTech.
• Strong technical foundation in IFRS / SFRS(I) – revenue recognition, financial instruments, share‑based payments, leases.
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements and managing external audits.
• Working knowledge of Singapore corporate tax, GST and MAS reporting requirements.
• Excellent written communication for audit responses, board papers and regulator letters.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
