Laboratory Technician II (Manufacturing & Operations)

About the role

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to join its Manufacturing & Operations team in Singapore. The role is on‑site, working the afternoon shift (1 pm – 10 pm), and supports the production of life‑science reagents that enable genomics research worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes and operate laboratory equipment to produce products according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance by analyzing QC results, maintaining accurate documentation, identifying defects, and releasing product in accordance with SOPs.
• Maintain operational excellence through equipment upkeep, problem solving, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support continuous improvement and timely product release.

Required profile

• Diploma in a science‑related discipline (e.g., Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Science) or Nitec/Higher Nitec with at least three years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in a regulated production environment such as manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, accurately document work in electronic systems, and perform manufacturing tasks while meeting quality and safety requirements.
