Technical Support Engineer & Product Trainer – Valves

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and technically astute Sales Technical Support Engineer / Product Trainer to join our Singapore team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between technical product expertise and our sales force (both indoor and outdoor teams). You will empower our sales staff through targeted technical training while driving commercial success by providing critical pre‑ and post‑sales engineering support for complex valve projects, bids, and tenders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive product and technical training sessions (1 to 2 times per month) covering valve structures, types, materials, applications, and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team during the project bidding phase to review requirements, complete technical clarifications, and provide General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) where applicable.
• Support the order execution phase by resolving complex technical specifications and conducting deep‑dive technical clarifications with clients.
• Lead technical discussions and presentations with clients through face‑to‑face meetings and online platforms to build trust and secure project wins.
• Partner with regional leadership and global headquarters on technical initiatives, reporting, and ad‑hoc strategic tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in the valve industry or closely related fluid‑control/industrial equipment sectors.
• Solid understanding of industrial valves, materials, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer‑centric approach.
• Professional, positive attitude, highly self‑motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
