Legal Consultant – Commercial Contracts (Japanese Speaker)

About the role

Axiom is seeking a Legal Consultant specialized in commercial contracts for Fortune 500 clients, with fluency in Japanese and English. The role supports clients remotely, focusing on the Japanese market and a broad range of commercial agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate creative, advertising, digital marketing, procurement, technology, and partnership agreements.
• Develop and advise on commercial marketplace contracts, Terms and Conditions of Sale, distribution agreements, and related policies.
• Provide legal guidance tailored to the Japanese market while collaborating with global client teams.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Prior experience working in Japan is a plus.
• Ability to write and draft legal documents in both Japanese and English.
