Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial (4-8 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to work closely with the General Counsel of an international group. The role focuses on corporate and commercial matters, providing practical legal advice and supporting governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
• Provide risk‑based legal advice to business units and senior management.
• Support corporate governance, statutory compliance and corporate secretarial duties across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate intellectual property filings, renewals and maintain accurate records.
• Improve legal trackers, templates and internal processes.
• Assist with investigations and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• 4–8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE), preferably with law‑firm training.
• Qualified to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong drafting ability and commercial judgment.
• Highly organized, able to work independently in a lean environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with management, business‑unit leaders and external counsel.
