Legal Counsel – M&A & Investments

About the role

The Legal Counsel – M&A & Investments will join a key team that evaluates and executes investment opportunities across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Based in Singapore, you will support a variety of corporate‑led transactions, providing both legal and commercial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A, joint‑venture and investment‑led projects, including due‑diligence and documentation.
• Collaborate with investment teams to structure business strategies and translate ideas into actionable transactions.
• Provide commercial guidance on ad‑hoc deals while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain awareness of key regulatory and compliance requirements across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in M&A or investment law.
• Education from a tier‑1 university with overseas experience.
• Strong background in corporate transactions; MBA or equivalent master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a small‑to‑mid‑size team in Singapore and coordinate with overseas stakeholders.
