Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Equipment Assembly

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will handle electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies while ensuring quality and compliance with standard procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams to build, repair or test equipment assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, audit inventory, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Test assemblies with fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Complete job documentation, record labor and expense data, and perform software installs or programming when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display industry experience (or comparable military/industry experience).
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Use of electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Computer programming, software installation and repair.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
