Product Support Operations Representative

About the role

Caterpillar is looking for a Product Support Operations Representative (PSOR) in Singapore, a parts and service operations-focused role working directly with CAT dealers in Southeast Asia. The PSOR partners with dealers to achieve service excellence and distribution capabilities that support the sale of new and used Caterpillar products. The role involves travelling up to 30% of the time and working onsite five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver initiatives that raise dealer capabilities, capacity and profitability.
• Support the implementation of key initiatives such as the Services Commitment and identify service operations improvements.
• Liaise with dealers, customers and other Caterpillar personnel to analyse and solve customers' toughest challenges.
• Assist dealers in business planning, recommending changes to facilities, tooling and systems.
• Counsel dealers on improving human performance and on dealer effectiveness, safety, business growth, process improvement and warranty policy.
• Support the rollout of new products, services and solutions such as customer service agreements.
• Stay current on industry, technology and digital advancements and apply them to meet customer needs.

Required profile

• Prior experience in field assignments, engineering or product support roles, or dealer-facing positions is beneficial.
• Ability to build strong business relationships with dealers and use data to identify opportunities.
