QC Inspector cum Equipment Technician

About the role

This position combines quality control inspection with equipment maintenance in a cleanroom environment. The incumbent will ensure that incoming, in‑process, and finished products meet strict specifications while keeping inspection tools and related equipment in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections of parts, materials, packaging and labeling.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate quality records and ensure traceability.
• Identify recurring quality issues and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Maintain, clean and calibrate QC instruments such as microscopes and gauges.
• Comply with Controlled Environment Room (CER) protocols, including gowning and hygiene.
• Participate in non‑conformance and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Assist the QC Executive with documentation and preventive‑maintenance scheduling.
• Manage spare‑part inventory and coordinate third‑party servicing of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Ensure all service reports are submitted to document control.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE "N" level, SPM level or higher; diploma preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a quality control inspector in medical device, pharmaceutical or life‑sciences manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment without medical restrictions.
