R&D Specialist (Systems Biology of Aging)

About the role

Join Nestlé, the world’s largest Food & Beverage company, as an R&D Specialist focused on the systems biology of aging. You will work in Jurong, Singapore, applying cutting‑edge omics technologies to understand how nutrition influences healthy longevity and women’s health.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret diet‑induced effects on ageing biomarkers, including epigenetic, metabolomic, proteomic and microbiome signatures.
• Integrate multi‑omics data (proteomics, microbiome metagenomics, metabolomics) to build predictive models of health outcomes.
• Investigate microbiome‑metabolome interactions with host biology and propose disruptive nutritional interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate scientific findings into IP filings, publications and internal R&D notes.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience with a PhD or MD/PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Metabolism or Systems Biology.
• Demonstrated expertise in OMICS integration and systems‑biology approaches.
• Knowledge of healthy longevity and/or women’s health; corporate R&D experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an academic‑industry environment.
