Resident Physician – Caldecott / Marymount

About the role

The Resident Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to Caldecott and Marymount facilities. This role involves direct patient assessment, treatment planning, and participation in multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and identify the needs of patients and families on admission and during regular reviews.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call coverage according to the rota.
• Perform appropriate clinical procedures and document assessments, goals, care plans, and treatment evaluations accurately.
• Orient new doctors on attachment and guide medical students and visitors.
• Facilitate access to supportive care services with the interdisciplinary team.
• Engage in quality improvement and research activities on an ad‑hoc basis.

Required profile

• Basic medical qualification recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Maintained CME requirements and in good standing with the SMC.
• At least 2 years of medical practice in a hospital or community setting, including 1 year of acute medicine with on‑call experience.
• Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Oncology, Geriatrics, or related specialties is advantageous.
