Senior International Tax Manager

About the role
This senior position sits within the Finance & Tax function and is responsible for shaping the Group’s international tax strategy across Europe, Asia‑Pacific and other regions. The role combines strategic planning, compliance oversight and cross‑border coordination to support the company’s global expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and continuously optimise the Group’s international tax strategy, covering corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and other cross‑border taxes.
- Lead the design, documentation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing policies, pricing models, Local File/Master File and Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR).
- Monitor tax policy changes under BEPS, OECD and local jurisdictions (IRAS, EU, Japan, Australia, New Zealand) and advise on business impact.
- Manage tax disputes, audit responses and liaison with external advisors, tax authorities and auditors.
- Coordinate with local teams across Europe and Asia‑Pacific to ensure tax solutions comply with regional regulations.
- Provide tax structuring support for overseas business localisation, including supply‑chain, IP and treasury arrangements.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, business and HQ tax teams to embed tax considerations into contracts and processes.
- Establish and improve tax compliance processes, internal controls and data‑management systems, delivering analysis and reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Tax, Accounting, Law or related fields.
- 8+ years of international tax experience with a proven record of leading cross‑regional projects.
- Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English (Chinese candidates preferred).
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CTA are a plus.
- Strong communication, coordination and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently with HQ and overseas teams.
