Senior Legal Operations Consultant - Contract Management

About the role

Join a global brand and support legal operations across APAC and China. You will focus on high‑quality contract drafting, review, negotiation and management for B2B sales, distribution and trading agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, especially customer sales and distribution agreements.
• Guide Key Account Managers and business stakeholders on contract processes, templates, renewal timelines and required inputs.
• Coordinate inputs from Legal, Finance, BSO, Customer Logistics, BU Operations and commercial teams to ensure timely contract completion and governance.
• Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, negotiation guidance and governance materials in partnership with APAC Legal and business stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and escalate material legal or process risks, providing clear guidance to business stakeholders.
• Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of legal operations processes, including workflows, approval matrices, templates and playbooks.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of legal technology platforms that support contract drafting, workflow management, reporting and service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably B2B sales, distribution or trading agreements.
• Background in a corporate legal department, legal operations team or law firm.
• Experience coordinating end‑to‑end contract workflows in a matrixed regional environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex legal topics into practical guidance for non‑legal stakeholders.
• Comfortable using AI tools, contract lifecycle management systems and other legal technology platforms.
