Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Site Engineer will oversee and coordinate construction activities across DINBUILD's projects in Singapore, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance. This role works closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and on‑site teams to deliver projects that meet approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documents; resolve technical issues on site.
• Monitor project progress, report delays, and conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and coordinate with the safety team.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and maintain accurate documentation of materials and manpower.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site workers to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably on Singapore projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and engineering practices.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills; capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
