ACCA Accountant

About the role

A full-time ACCA Accountant position based in the Central Region of Singapore. The role covers expense monitoring, general ledger entries, reconciliations, management reporting and support on forecasting and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and check the completeness and reasonableness of expenses in the P&L.
• Prepare and post general journal entries for expenses, accruals, allocations and adjustments.
• Update currency exchange rates in Navision each month.
• Prepare GL-related schedules and reconciliations, and review AR/AP schedules.
• Prepare bi-monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on actions with finance staff.
• Prepare the monthly management report and board deck, cash flow statement, audit schedules, business report and commitment reports.
• Assist in tracking actual versus planned revenue and expenses, and in quarterly forecasting and budgeting, including coordinating with departments and schools.
• Help develop and maintain financial models used for budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5-7 years of experience.
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Competence in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Navision or a similar accounting system.
