Account Executive – Public Sector (ASEAN)

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive to lead the adoption of safe, frontier AI across governments in Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, you will use consultative sales expertise and deep knowledge of ASEAN public‑sector landscapes to grow revenue and become a trusted partner for government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead market entry and expansion across ASEAN public‑sector markets, building relationships with ministries, statutory boards and agencies.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to deployment, focusing on long‑term strategic partnerships.
• Navigate procurement, security and compliance requirements such as GeBIZ and IM8 in Singapore, and prioritize markets based on readiness.
• Collaborate with policy teams to align with national AI strategies and digital government initiatives.
• Design and execute tailored sales strategies, meet revenue targets, and maintain strong ties with decision‑makers.
• Provide market intelligence to product teams, addressing data sovereignty, residency and localisation needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with systems integrators, in‑country partners and technology partners across ASEAN.
• Develop best‑practice playbooks for public‑sector engagement in each market.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technology solutions to government or public‑sector organisations.
• Deep understanding of ASEAN public‑sector procurement, security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with policy, product, GTM and marketing teams.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with ministries, statutory boards and agencies.
• Strategic mindset to define market entry strategies and value propositions.
