Account Manager - Financial Services

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Account Manager for Financial Services (FSI) in Singapore. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers three global Financial Services customers plus the top local customers in the APJ region, managing the account's profitability and driving business performance across HPE business units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 3 global Financial Services customers and the top local APJ customers, understanding their IT and business objectives and adding value through HPE's strategy
• Build the pipeline, support deal closing and coordinate the deal team, acting as the customer's advocate inside HPE
• Build relationships with key IT and business decision makers and engage the extended partner ecosystem
• Translate customer business challenges into IT opportunities and build basic account business plans for the fiscal year
• Work with HPE Partner Business Managers to assess and update the partner strategy for the account
• Lead moderately complex sales engagements and close deals of moderate complexity

Required profile

• University or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience; engineering or technology education is a plus
• Typically 2-5+ years of pre-sales or sales experience
• Experience in the IT industry preferred; experience in Financial Services preferred
• Broad intermediate technical knowledge of networking, storage, AI, cloud, compute and software
