Account Manager - Financial Services

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Account Manager for its Financial Services (FSI) practice in Singapore. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers three global Financial Services customers plus the top local customers in the APJ region, managing the account's profitability and driving business performance across HPE's business units.

Key responsibilities

• Understand each customer's IT and business objectives, priorities and challenges, and implement HPE's strategy to add value
• Build the pipeline, support deal closing and coordinate the deal team, including partners
• Build relationships with key IT and business decision makers and engage the extended partner ecosystem
• Develop and maintain a basic account plan focused on growth and profitability, using HPE programs such as Executive Sponsors and BU deal support
• Translate customer business challenges into IT opportunities and close deals of moderate complexity
• Maintain a simple governance with the extended account team and act as the customer's advocate inside HPE

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience; engineering or technology education is a plus
• 2-5+ years of pre-sales or sales experience
• Preferred: IT industry experience, experience working within an IT department or with customers, and Financial Services experience
• Intermediate technical knowledge of networking, storage, AI, cloud, compute and software
