Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at VML you will maintain a positive and prosperous relationship with clients, grow existing opportunities, and support new business proposals while translating client vision into clear business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for client partners and develop account growth plans.
• Collaborate with the Business Director and Project Manager to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Generate revenue and profit targets for assigned accounts.
• Manage multicultural projects, coordinate teams, monitor risks, and control schedule and budget.
• Maintain deep knowledge of clients’ businesses, industries and competitors.
• Identify up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities and support tender submissions and proposals.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of client‑facing experience in a creative agency, communications or customer‑service environment.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong digital knowledge and awareness of internet trends, site performance analysis and user‑centred design.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
