Account Manager - Oncology

About the role

The Oncology Account Manager will act as the primary liaison between oncology customers and internal teams, driving growth of the oncology portfolio and ensuring optimal patient care. This role requires deep understanding of account objectives, stakeholder needs, and the oncology market landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow the oncology portfolio within assigned accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Develop and execute robust account management plans that align with short‑ and long‑term account strategies.
• Build and maintain trusted partnerships with oncologists, oncology nurses, pharmacists, clinic managers and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate market and customer insights to cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Market Access, Medical) to shape value‑adding solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated value and support optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmacy, biomedical, biology, life‑science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an MNC environment, with at least 2 years in healthcare account management.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders, influence internal teams and achieve sales results.
• Strong understanding of oncology market dynamics, clinical workflows and patient journeys.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to leverage digital tools for customer engagement.
