Accountant – 12‑Month Contract (Singapore)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established single family office in Singapore to hire an Accountant on a 12‑month contract. The role offers exposure to a broad range of finance activities, including investment, corporate, and treasury accounting, within a lean and fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Process payments, monitor cash flow across multiple entities and bank accounts.
• Record portfolio transactions, maintain supporting schedules and reconcile investment portfolios with custodians and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, ad‑hoc financial analysis and finance‑related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a family office, investment management, private equity, asset management or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently in a small team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
