Accountant – Finance Operations (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join TOMRA Singapore’s finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support day‑to‑day finance operations in a fast‑growing start‑up environment, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payments, collections and follow‑up.
• Prepare supplier payments, employee claims and banking transactions, and perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities such as journal entries, accruals and general‑ledger maintenance.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, GST submissions and statutory filings, and liaise with auditors.
• Provide finance administration support for payroll, invoicing, cash‑flow monitoring and working‑capital management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and support ERP system maintenance and data accuracy.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant accounting or finance operations experience.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, general‑ledger accounting and month‑end closing.
• Familiarity with Singapore accounting practices, GST and statutory reporting requirements.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
