Accountant / Senior Accountant

About the role

The Accountant / Senior Accountant will support the Accounting and Finance Manager in tax compliance, internal controls, financial operations and reporting. The role ensures timely and accurate financial closings while providing guidance to cross‑functional teams and SAP users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax computations, GST filings, withholding tax, property tax and deferred tax accounting.
• Lead J‑SOX compliance, internal audit preparation and internal control framework strengthening.
• Oversee lease, sub‑lease, fixed‑asset capitalization, disposal, ARO calculations and spare‑parts accounting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly income recognition, quarterly reporting and financial analysis.
• Provide SAP Controlling module user support, troubleshooting and guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (professional certification a plus).
• 3‑5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a multinational or Big 4 environment.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication and detail‑orientation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
